STAX - SRM-500T

The brand new STAX SRM-500T comes as a replacement for the SRM-006tS. It features a pair of 6FQ7/6CG7 vacuum tube output hybrid DC amplification driver units along with a custom made low noise dual FET. This allows the STAX SRM-500T to deliver a high-value electrostatic driver for best-in-class sonic performance. While still using the traditional circuit design, the SRM-500t is equipped with an upgraded, power-efficient transformer that produces an enhanced sound.

With the conventional power transformer aiding the high voltage circuit, the all-new power-efficient transformer has the winding for the low voltage circuit. This low voltage winding increases the power efficiency of the STAX SRM-500T, saving power while elevating sound up a notch. Add more peace to your music with super-low harmonic distortion at 0.01% or less and a frequency response of up to 90kHz.

A rigorous and hybrid chassis is also employed in the STAX SRM-500T and it utilises non-magnetic aluminium to eliminate ambient noise and vibrations. Installed with the RCA and XLR mutual exclusion inputs, the SRM-500T also sports a custom-made dual volume knob. This knob along with RCA parallel out functions stays the same as the conventional STAX driver units.

One of the biggest traditional features used in the STAX SRM-500T is the comprehensive DC amplifier configuration in the signal circuit that has no coupling condensers.
