DESCRIPTION

One of the notable developments in the FiiO E10K-TC is its PCM5102 DAC chip. This chip brings about significant improvements in the functionality of the E10K-TC and improved audio quality without any phase shift or delays. The PCM5102 DAC can handle PCM files up to 32-bit/384kHz, or outputting 192 kHz over coaxial S/PDIF while improving audio quality via a linear internal filter; this also reduces delay, improves internal silence on changing tracks and induces no phase shifts. Now you can connect the E10K-TC to your laptop via its USB Type-C connection, which also provides it with power and offers a better interface with modern devices.

FiiO E10K-TC now comes embedded with an LMH6643 OP-Amp that elevates its driving power exponentially. The FiiO E10K-TC offers an output power of 200mW @32Ω and a USB decoding sample rate of 24 bit / 96kHz with enhanced transient response. Keeping up with the times, the E10K-TC comes embedded with the flagship XMOS XUF208 chip for more efficient USB decoding. This offers USB Audio Class 2.0 and supports up to 32bit/384kHz playback. The E10K-TC is also equipped with a Dual Gain setting that has an optimised low-pass filter along with a selectable Bass Boost circuit that delivers a low noise floor. Taking control of the volume is easy with the volume control knob that offers precise increments or decrements in volume and you can enable the Bass Boost Circuit via the button on the front panel.

The FiiO E10K-TC is compact, portable and more durable than ever before, thanks to its brushed aluminium shell and chassis that allow for portable operation without worry. The E10K-TC connects to your laptop via its USB Type-C connection and offers a variety of connectivity options, including a front-panel 3.5mm headphone jack, a rear-panel 3.5mm line output, and a rear-panel RCA coaxial digital output, which allows you to send your digital audio to another destination. The connectivity options make it easier to connect to other pieces of equipment. These additions are thoughtful and keep in tune with technological advancements.

*Turn anticlockwise to decrease the volume; turn anticlockwise until a click sound is heard to turn off the device.

Choose the gain level based on the earphones you are using. It is suggested to adjust the volume knob between 9 and 3 o'clock. and choose the gain level for your own preference.

The E10K-TC's headphone, coaxial and line-out output can work at the same time.
: The volume of the E10K-TC's coaxial and line-out output cannot be controlled through the volume knob.
: The E10K-TC has a power switch (i.e. the volume knob). When the E10K-TC is not in use, you only need to rotate the knob to turn off the E10K-TC yet without having to unplug the USB cable.
: The port of the E10K-TC is a combo of both power supply and data transfer, which is designed for desktop computers or laptops. It is not recommended to connect it to mobile devices.
: 1. Both of them are portable desktop DAC and headphone amplifier.
2. In terms of the USB Audio class, both of them support PCM up to 384kHz/32bit. The difference is that the New K3 also supports native decoding up to DSD256, while the E10K-TC does not support DSD.
3. The New K3 features a 2.5mm balanced output port, while the E10K-TC only has a 3.5mm single-ended output port.
4. The E10K-TC is more cost-effective.
In short, for balanced output and DSD requirements, the New K3 will be more appropriate, while single-ended output and non-DSD decoding can take the E10K-TC as a choice.

The E10K-TC's headphone, coaxial and line-out output can work at the same time.
: The volume of the E10K-TC's coaxial and line-out output cannot be controlled through the volume knob.
: The E10K-TC has a power switch (i.e. the volume knob). When the E10K-TC is not in use, you only need to rotate the knob to turn off the E10K-TC yet without having to unplug the USB cable.
: The port of the E10K-TC is a combo of both power supply and data transfer, which is designed for desktop computers or laptops. It is not recommended to connect it to mobile devices.
: 1. Both of them are portable desktop DAC and headphone amplifier.
2. In terms of the USB Audio class, both of them support PCM up to 384kHz/32bit. The difference is that the New K3 also supports native decoding up to DSD256, while the E10K-TC does not support DSD.
3. The New K3 features a 2.5mm balanced output port, while the E10K-TC only has a 3.5mm single-ended output port.
4. The E10K-TC is more cost-effective.
In short, for balanced output and DSD requirements, the New K3 will be more appropriate, while single-ended output and non-DSD decoding can take the E10K-TC as a choice.
