FiiO - FH9

FiiO introduces the latest IEMs in the “FH” series of hybrid in-ear monitors - the FH9. FiiO FH9 features a hybrid configuration of 1 dynamic driver working in conjunction with 6 balanced armature drivers. This hybrid configuration is tuned for quick low-frequency response with ample resolution in the mid-range and high frequencies. With a specially developed cavity structure, FiiO has made sure each driver unit performs to its full potential. The team of acoustic engineers at FiiO have redesigned the magnetic circuit for the FH9, resulting in a 20% higher magnet density. FiiO FH9 has also been awarded Hi-Res Gold Standard certification - allowing you to enjoy your music with vivid details and exceptional audio quality.

FH9 is the first IEM to feature FiiO’s self-developed 2nd generation DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) low-frequency dynamic driver. To increase the efficiency of the newly developed driver, the team of acoustic engineers at FiiO have redesigned the magnetic circuit in the FH9, resulting in a 20% higher magnet density, which produces a stronger magnetic flux to help the driver deliver a remarkable lower-end response. To complement the powerful DLC dynamic driver FiiO has equipped the FH9 with six custom-tuned Knowles balanced armature drivers for a lively and rich midrange.

The built quality of the FiiO FH9 is super robust and features the next generation industrial grade design elements with premium CNC machined Titanium alloy ear shells. The Titanium-alloy construction is highly rigid and helps to minimise the unwanted harmonics and resonances in the output signal. Each FH9 unit is made with great precision using five-axis CNC machining processes. The FH9 appears magnificent with a rich and premium tactile feel.

FiiO has implemented its patented semi-open acoustic cavity design in FH9. This semi-open acoustic cavity design maintains a balanced pressure relief between the front and rear cavities of the shell. This results in a natural sound with a comfortable fit suitable for long listening sessions. FiiO FH9 comes with three interchangeable sound filters, each filter has its damping and filter density. The pair comes packed with a red filter for enhancing bass responses, a green filter for transparent and balanced sound and a black filter for highly-resolving detailed treble sound.

FiiO FH9 comes bundled with a high-purity monocrystalline silver cable with 9 branches of 28 wires each, for a total of 224 wires, with stainless steel angled MMCX connector. Each wire is individually isolated and braided together in a Litz pattern. The MMCX connector is designed with ergonomics in mind and offers an angled connection for added comfort. It also ships with swappable termination plugs with 4.4mm, 3.5mm, and 2.5mm termination plugs included in the package. It provides ultimate sound signal characteristics with ultra-low internal resistance to the signal. There are a total of 15 pairs of ear tips included along with a cleaning brush, MMCX removal tool and a magnetic clamp.
